Come be on Mission with us

After 18 years as missionaries in Mexico and briefly in the Philippines, we have gained invaluable contacts with different ministries in different areas. We would love for you to join us on a short term mission trip to give your church, family, small group or school the opportunity to experience God on the mission field.

All locations and pastors are personally known to us and we will only work with highly recommended people and involve ourselves in ministries that matter. We are not about "make work projects" or "poverty tourism". We foster real relationships with invaluable partners doing ministry that matters around the world.

When God puts it all together, these trips can be life changing for the short term missionaries as well as the people on the field.

Pastor Nestor

Calvary Renuevo La Paz

This church is lead by Pastor Nestor. Nestor is a from La Paz and graduated from La Huerta School of Ministry in 2018. After several years as an intern and assistant pastor, he was ordained as senior pastor in March 2020 just as the pandemic started.

This church has been growing and recently relocated to a new neighbourhood in La Paz, BCS Mexico. They can use short term teams to help them construct bathrooms ( they have porta-potties right now) and Sunday school rooms (the kids meet under tarps in the 40C heat outside.) We also like to serve this church with kids outreaches, conferences and evangelism.

Pastor Luis

Calvary Colima

Pastor Luis and his wife Almeida sensed a call to plant a church in Colima in 2020. After attending and graduating from La Huerta School of Ministry as singles, they were married and served interning at La Huerta and Calvary Renuevo in La Paz. In 2023 they were sent out to plant in Colima with a goal of being a church that plants churches especially in Mexico's spiritually needy central area.

The church is growing rapidly and God is blessing their methodical equipping of leaders and servants for His Kingdom. They currently meet in the home of Luis and Almeida on an outside roofless patio where they are exposed to the elements! They could use a mission group to help build a roof as well as in kids ministries, leadership training and evangelism.

Pastor Dalvin

Calvary Esperanza Viva

Pastor Dalvin, Lucero and their 2 children are serving in one of the most spiritually needy areas in the Americas. There are very few Christians in this area and they sense a call of God to be a church that plants churches in the Circle of Silence. Pastor Dalvin and Lucero are graduates of Calvary Bible Institute- Mexico and served at Calvary Renuevo and La Huerta School of Ministry before being sent out to plant this church in Guadalajara, Mexico. On short term trips we will be helping them with training, encouragement, childrens ministries and evangelism.

What does a typical mission trip look like?

We have 3 different types of trips that can be booked.

1. All ages. All Ages trips are your typical church, small group or family trip. We cater each trip to the gifts, abilities and ages of the participants. Trips typically last for 7-14 days. If younger children are part of the trip, we split the days up into 3 sections- morning, afternoon and evening. We generally do more physically taxing work in the morning, rest in the afternoon and more people oriented ministry or visiting with local memebers in the evening.  We generally try to have at least 1 rest/ cultural day for each 6 days of ministry.

2. Adults Only. Adults only trips are more geared towards construction trips. Typical trips may include building churches, Sunday School rooms or helping economically disadvantaged peoples have decent living accomodations. These trips typically involve working in daylight hours and rest / visiting  in the evenings. Trips are generally 7 -10 days long. We reserve 1 day for rest/ cultural enrichment for every 6 days of ministry.

3. Pastor's Trips. Pastors trips are focused on leadership training, teaching and encouragement for local ministries. We may work in local churches, ministerials, rehabilitation centres or missions. Pastor's trips are usually 1 week long and may include various churches.
